Isaiah 12:1-6 James 1:16-21 John 16:5-15 In the name of the Father and of the +Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen. Christ is risen. He is risen indeed. Alleluia! And where is He now? He has ascended to the right hand of the Father in Heaven. He is the Father’s right hand man. The guy who does everything for the power that sits on the throne. But what does He do in heaven?

Isaiah 40:25-31 1 Peter 2:11-20 John 16:16-20 Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! Alleluia In the name of the Father and of the +Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen. When the Father of all is present time stretches. Our Lord says He will be gone in a little while, and be back in a little while because He is going to the Father. But with the Father time seems to warp because He is the source of everything. He is the reason you exist. He is the joy of existence. Without Him life is hell, passing alternately so fast you grieve how little time you have and so slow you wish your end would come sooner. But with Him time is irrelevant. It passes but you don’t care. It is enjoyable for He is there. It is what you were made for. Time does not matter for He is the Lord of time. Not merely a timelord like the popular British tv show but THE LORD of time itself. The Lord of all. He holds all in His hands. He controls all. He created and delights in all. He has as much time and matter as He needs. And He uses it as it should be used. So that in all things it is all joy, love, peace, and bliss with Him. Not fear, loathing, anger, hatred, or boredom which is so common here below.
Ezekiel 34:11-16 1 Peter 2:21-25 John 10:11-16 Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! Alleluia. In the name of the Father and of the +Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen. Last week we heard of believing Thomas whose natural skepticism was overcome by the fact that a man rose from the dead. The Christian faith declares that this risen man is God who holds power over life and death. Satan is defeated. Sin’s power is destroyed. Death is done as Ezekiel prophesied.
Ezekiel 37:1-14 1 John 5:4-10 John 20:19-31 In the name of the Father and of the +Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen. Natural man does not believe in the things of God. The witness of Creation around us means all mankind is without excuse if they do not in the God who created all. That is the natural default setting in us: to believe in God. If your heart on its own did not long for more than what you can see in this material world, the very beauty, intricacy, the irreducible complexity, the design that is obvious in all things in the natural world means you are a fool to deny that a creator exists.
