Genesis 22:1-14 Hebrews 9:11-15 John 8:42-59 In the name of the Father and of the +Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen. Pray dear friends. Pray. Our Lord He did not come to bring peace but a sword. This does not mean He advocates violence, except against Himself, but He brings a sword into the midst of your life—His Word. His Word divides houses, families, husband and wife against each other. For he who hears His Word and believes is divided from he who does not believe. So pray, pray, pray. For those who do not believe don’t because they are of their father—the murderer, the father of lies who speaks his own language, a language of falsehood, half truths, and outright deceit. And his desire is to kill, to destroy, to enslave all people to himself and send you and your loved ones to hell.

Exodus 16:2-21 Acts 2:41-47 John 6:1-15 In the name of the Father and of the +Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen. God promises right in the midst of promising salvation to also provide for those He saves: "I will bless [the Church’s] provisions; I will satisfy her poor with bread." (Psalm 132:15) And true to His Word down through the ages the Lord has provided abundant salvation, and even food for the poor again and again.
Jeremiah 26:1-15 Ephesians 5:1-9 Luke 11:14-28 In the name of the Father and of the +Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen. Is your house cluttered? These days we all have too much stuff. Rare is the person with the gift of being orderly, uncluttered, and knowing just where to file that piece of paper, that letter, that bill, or who deals with it promptly and orderly. Also rare is the person who doesn't constantly desire more stuff. Rare is the person who buys quality so that what they have lasts a long time, rather than merely accumulating lots of junky, low quality stuff, that breaks quickly, and needs constant replacing. More than that, rare is the person who when they have to replace it doesn’t still hang on to the old broken one! We all have too much stuff. Clutter everywhere. Even you folks who may not have fallen into these traps of our day, certainly have more than any of us truly need.
Genesis 32:22-32 1 Thessalonians 4:1-7 Matthew 15:21-28 In the name of the Father and of the +Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen. The Canaanites had been the original inhabitants of the Promised Land before God brought Jacob’s descendants, the Israelites, up out of Egypt. He planted them in the land He had promised them, casting out the former inhabitants as a judgement against their wickedness and idolatry. For their gods, their idols, their practices were such that they did not honour themselves as the sexual beings God made them to be. Instead, not knowing God, they sought only their own pleasure, and abandoned themselves to the passions of their flesh, not exercising any bodily control over themselves, and allowed such passions within them to cause them to exploit each other, to take advantage of each other, to abuse each other for the purposes of selfish pleasure. They treated each other as objects to be used, not human beings to be loved and respected. The Lord God avenges such things. He is merciful on the repentant sinner, but He brings judgement upon the unrepentant here in life hoping that the punishment will lead the unrepentant sinner to repentance, but when someone obstinately refuse His mercy He brings that judgement to its fullness in eternity.
